Inn, a traditional cottage-style inn located in the idyllic village of
Escrick, five minutes south of York, just off the A19. The elegant
traditional furnishings and blazing log fire reflect the warmth and friendly
atmosphere of this peaceful village setting.
The heart of The Black
Bull Inn is the kitchen where qualified restaurant chefs work hard to make
your home-cooked meal tasty, memorable and excellent value for money. You
can choose from our lunchtime menu, evening menu or from our daily special
boards. We also have a cosy bar offering a range of fine quality wines and
cask ales.
Our accommodation boasts
4 AA Stars and provides ten en-suite bedrooms, one of which has a four poster bed. All the rooms have
been freshly redecorated with pastel colours and matching pine furniture, and are
well equipped with LCD TV, alarm clocks, tea-making facilities, private
telephones, fully wired broadband access and toiletries.
The en-suites with power showers are well fitted, and as with the rest of
the accommodation, are meticulously clean.
We are an ideal
alternative place to stay than a City hotel, as we are only a short drive
from the historic City of York just off the A19 towards Selby. All our rates
include a full English breakfast and VAT.
