The Rose & Crown is a superb example of a
traditional forest inn, dating back to the 13th century. The welcome it offers
visitors to the New Forest is as warm now as it has been through the centuries,
in a superb location for riding, walking, fishing, golf and visits to the many
villages including the Bucklers Hard and Burley.
As well as accommodating 14 newly refurbished
en-suite bedrooms, the pub also has an attractive and extensive garden area that
allows al fresco dining it its truest sense. The food served is renowned for its
quality, whether it’s a carvery, a traditional meal or a bar snack, complemented
with a selection of ales including local Ringwood Best Beer, and excellent wines.
The Rose and Crown also offers a
Function Room with a private bar and an old style skittle
alley that can cater from 15 to 60 people for events.
We can
offer anything from a finger buffet to a four course dinner.
