This 16th
century coaching inn, 5 miles west of Tetbury, has a wealth of charm and
character, enhanced by original features including beamed ceiling, stone
floors and exposed walls plus three open fires, traditional furniture and an
abundance of bric-a-brac.

can dine from an extensive choice of traditional dishes in any of the three
comfortable bars or our restaurant offering a relaxed and informal
atmosphere.
Private rooms are available
for functions, parties and meetings, catering for up to 36 people.
Within the large garden is a children's adventure play area.
The 12 modern, well
equipped bedrooms, all en-suite, are located in a separate building which
was once the stables and blacksmiths shop. Several bedrooms are on the
ground floor and one has been specially designed for the convenience of
disabled guests. There is also a two bedroom family suite and a four poster
bedroom. Weekend breaks are available.
Within a short distance
there are a variety of leisure activities and attractions, from country
strolls to horse riding or golf, to ambling around nearby historic towns and
cities: Bath (18 miles), Cheltenham (20 miles), Gloucester (18 miles) and
local Tetbury. Westonbirt Arboretum (5 miles), Berkeley Castle (5 miles) and
Newark Park (5 miles).

 Situated 2 miles west of the A46 on the
A4135.
From the North:
M5, exit junction 13, follow the A46 south
towards Bath. Around 8 miles south of Stroud at the traffic lights turn
right along the A4135.
From the South, East and West:
M4 exit Junction 18. Join the A46 to Stroud
and Tetbury. Around 8 miles at the traffic lights turn left along the
A4135.
