The Cotswolds are rightly famous for the beauty of the
countryside and the charming towns and villages built from the
characteristic local creamy white cotswolds limestone.
Here, in this area of outstanding natural beauty bounded by
Bath, Oxford, Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon, lies the
historic 17th Century coaching inn, the Inn for All Seasons.
Over the past 20 years, the Sharp family have taken great pride
in preserving the distinctive character and personality of the
coaching age. Visitors, Guests and local characters alike eat,
drink and unwind in the popular bar surrounded by an eclectic
mix of mementos and souvenirs.
Chef/Proprietor Matthew Sharp and his wife Heather continue
to welcome their guests for a special brand of personal and
informal hospitality in a relaxed traditional setting.
"Food plays an important part in our family life and we always
ensure our guests and visitors enjoy only the very best. Fish is
a particular speciality of the house and the game, meat, poultry
and vegetables are all sourced locally by Matthew from only the
very best cotswolds suppliers."
As well as a keen interest in food, Matthew and Heather also
understand the importance of a well-selected and interesting
wine list. They hold regular wine tastings and work closely
with local merchants to ensure that their extensive wine
list (currently 120 bins) offers excellent choice and
quality. Their aim is to serve wines from around the world
that deliver great interest and value for money.
The bar also offers a wide selection of draft Real Ales,
locally brewed Cotswold Lager, Hereford cider and of course
spirits and soft drinks. In particular there is an extensive
Malt Whisky selection of more than fifty varieties – one for
every week of the year!
The Inn has ten guest bedrooms, each with twin or double
beds. Every room has en-suite facilities, colour television,
direct dial telephone and of course tea and coffee making
facilities complete with home made biscuits.
There is one delightful (and very popular)
four poster room which is steeped in history. All of our rooms
are different and are decorated in a traditional country house
style. Our only concessions to a more contemporary style are the
crisp white duvets and the sumptuous fluffy towels!
The Inn is a pet friendly establishment and has rooms with
direct access to the garden area especially allocated to dogs
and their owners.
