All of our hotel rooms have been individually furnished, many with period antiques which bestow a unique character on each room. However we have endeavoured to ensure that none of the home comforts are missing, so that your stay at The Old Thatched Cottage will be as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. To this end, all of our rooms are en-suite, almost all with bath and power shower( which can almost knock you off your feet on the jet setting!) and a large selection of quality toiletries. Our bedrooms now include a four poster room.
Of course there is a remote control colour television with digital receiver and tea, coffee and hot drink making facilities with a large complimentary selection of teas and coffees, but there is also a hair dryer, radio alarm clock, direct dial telephone, shoe cleaning wipes, and with our lovely but unpredictable climate, it is reassuring to know that your central heating is independently controllable.
In our reception area you will find a pay phone, tourist information, a fax service and much more.
A full English breakfast is served between 7.00 am and 9.00 am for hotel guests.
