Welcome to The Old Thatched Cottage Hotel and Restaurant, a beautiful beamed building, full of charm and character. Originally built as four cottages during the Fifteenth Century, the building retains many of the original features, including the salt cupboards which are located either side of the fireplace in the lounge, part of a ladder stair and of course, manyoak beams!
The Old Thatched Cottage offers a variety of dining experiences; a superb value for money midweek lunchtime menu, a lounge and bar menu served Monday to Thursday evenings, or choose from our A la Carte menu available Monday to Saturday evenings. The restaurant is closed Saturday lunchtime and all day on Sunday.
All the hotel rooms in this historic building are individually furnished, many with period antiques and all are en-suite.
