Situated in the most picturesque street in the market town of Ross-on-Wye, this 14th century inn maintains many of its original features, including oak beams and a large stone fireplace.
Accommodation:The King's Head has fifteen rooms, each with full en-suite. Four poster, family and twin rooms are available. All of our rooms are on the first and second floors. All rooms have tea and coffee trays, biscuits, complimentary mineral water, direct dial access telephones, flat-screen Freeview television. Superior rooms are larger and have DAB 1-pod docking radios. Wireless internet is available and free; coverage extends to most of the hotel.
Please note that The King's Head Hotel is a Grade 2 listed building and has no passenger lift facility. If you have difficulty with stairs, please inform us when making your booking.
Dining:The restaurant, which is also open to non residents, is extremely popular in the local area and features a 19 metre well as its centrepiece! Our award winning Chef uses market fresh ingredients in both restaurant and bar meals. We have a regular a la carte menu and a changing specials board, with fresh fish and game a speciality.
The Kings Bar has a good range of single malts, wines and 2 local real ales, as well as being CAMRA recommended. With its impressive oak beamed ceiling, wooden floors and comfortable seating, The Kings Bar is a popular destination for locals with its traditional local inn atmosphere.
