The White Hart Inn and Restaurant is a charming 16th century family run Coaching Inn. Located in the centre of historic Winchcombe, the Inn offers the ideal base for touring the Cotswolds and is within easy reach of Cheltenham, Broadway and Stratford-upon-Avon. Excellent walking and cycling routes are nearby. Sudeley Castle and award winning Gardens are within 15 minutes walk.

The White Hart has been offering food, refreshment and accommodation for over 200 years and since the Burr family took over in the autumn of 2000, an extensive refurbishment program has been underway to enhance the current features and introduce new ones.

Whilst retaining the traditional Old English character in the Bar area, the brasserie style Restaurant has been decorated in a Gustavian style to reflect the family's Scandinavian influences.

Drinks and an extensive snack menu are available in the Bar at any time, or a table can be reserved in the Restaurant for lunch or an evening meal. On a Wednesday evening, traditional Scandinavian cuisine can be sampled from a menu created by our Swedish chefs, alternatively a Smorgasbord buffet is on offer during Friday lunchtimes. Daily specials are displayed on the mirrors in the Bar area.

Our eight en-suite Bedrooms are all being decorated individually to a specific theme, with the Highland, Carl Larsson, Gustavian and Castle rooms already completed. Each room offers television, tea and coffee making facilities, and direct dial telephone.

Also on site is The Inn Boutique. Here you will find an intriguing selection of Scandinavian furniture, local craftwork, antique bric-a-brac and unusual kitchen collectable. The boutique is open from 11.30am - 6.30 pm. every day except Tuesday.
