With just 17 bedrooms, 'guests' are just that, regulars
become friends, names not numbers and The Woodhouse is 'Home from Home'. We
have six hotel rooms in the main building and ten motel style rooms. Our Barn
Cottage which offers four bedrooms, lounge and bathroom, is an economical option for block
bookings of 4 - 6 persons. If your company has a regular requirement for hotel
rooms, The Woodhouse offers a 'Commercial Room Rate' inclusive of full English breakfast.
If you are looking for a venue for a small meeting, conference or
promotion, or just a quiet location for a business lunch or dinner, the tranquil setting
of The Woodhouse means freedom from frustrating traffic problems and ample free parking.
Functions and Parties
The Orchard Room can accommodate in excess of 100
persons for formal dining and when merged with the adjoining Lounge and Bar, up to 250 for
an informal buffet. This makes it the ideal setting for Dinner Parties and Dinner Dances,
Wedding Receptions and Civil Ceremonies, Anniversaries and Birthdays. The Patio and
Gardens offer a unique setting for summer functions, and afford ample space for a marquee.
The Barn, an attractive conversion of one of the
original 18th century farm buildings, has a full Bar facility and a Light and Sound Disco
if required, and can accommodate up to 80 persons for a buffet supper or 50 persons for
formal seating. It's mellow brickwork, timbered roof and original Minstrels Gallery
create the perfect atmosphere for an informal party!
