Welcome to the Angel Inn at Hetton. The Angel is one of the best known and best loved inns in the country and quite simply a delightful place both to stay and dine.

With origins in part over 500 years old the inn is, as you would expect, full of atmosphere and charm with oak beams, nooks, crannies and crackling log fires yet with a style that’s both sophisticated and up-to-date and, above all, supremely comfortable

 

Food

Experience tasty well presented food using the freshest and finest seasonal produce from around the region. Meat and game from the Yorkshire Dales and Lancashire, fresh fish from the East and West coasts, legumes and soft fruit from the local farms and everything baked, cooked and produced in our own kitchens to offer you an exciting choice of classical and contemporary dishes. 

 

Accommodation

Opposite The Angel Inn is an exciting barn conversion with a choice of five unique bedrooms - 2 studio bedrooms and 3 suites, one of which is on two floors.

The stylish designs have incorporated the charm and features of a Dales barn yet the comfort and facilities to match those of a luxury hotel. The Angel looks out over Rylstone Fell and the Dales beyond.

Renowned for outstanding food and hospitality The Angel Inn offers a perfect venue for a very special intimate wedding celebration in the Yorkshire Dales.

Yours exclusively is the magical setting of the candlelit wine cave for a civil ceremony followed by private use of the restaurant for your wedding breakfast. Everything we do is bespoke.
