Welcome to the Mallyan Spout Hotel in the lovely village of Goathland near Whitby.

Goathland will be very famililar to fans of the TV series 'Heartbeat', as the village was the setting for 'Aidensfield'.

The Mallyan Spout Hotel takes it name from the famous 70 foot high waterfall which is just a short walk behind the hotel. The hotel is set in the stunning North Yorks Moors and some of the guest rooms boast magnificent views over the countryside. The North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway also stops in the village.

Situated opposite the village church, the Mallyan Spout Hotel offers three lounges, two bars, cosy log fires, a restaurant and pretty gardens for those sunny days. There are 20 comfortable, en-suite rooms, all individual and some with balconies overlooking the Esk Valley.

The Mallyan Spout Hotel is ideally situated, only a short 10 minute drive from the coast at Whitby and the old market town of Pickering. The city of York is 45 minutes away by car.
