The Seven Stars Inn, dating from 1724, is a traditional English country Inn located on the edge of picturesque Shincliffe village, only one and a half miles from the centre of Durham city and Durham University.

Renowned for the quality of its food the inn is all one might suppose an English country inn should be, with superb accommodation, a warm and comfortable ambience, fine wines and well-kept real ales.  Whether it is a visit for a drink, a meal, or a longer stay a warm welcome is always guaranteed from your hosts, Ken and Noreen Harris and all our friendly staff.

Offering 4 double rooms, 2 single rooms, 1 twin room and 1 family room (1 double bed and 1 single bed) we are ideally placed for that short or long break visiting the wonderful cathedral city of Durham and experiencing the sights and sounds of North East England, a region that is steeped in culture and history. Each room has its own en-suite shower room facilities as well as a television and tea and coffee making facilities.  We also provide free wireless internet access for all residents.
